This book deals with Reliability Engineering, which aims to adapt industry production to market standards and quality standards, providing the theoretical framework for this improvement process. The differential of Reliability and Industrial Maintenance is to treat reliability from a quantitative point of view, based on statistical modeling of data, and not qualitatively like other books on the subject.

This work became reality due to the author's determination in the tireless search for continuous improvement of the planning processes of a major maintenance stop of an industrial unit. The book Management of maintenance in health services is a work that makes a valuable contribution to the scarce literature available on the subject in Portuguese, dealing in a single volume of technology management of the different specificities of maintenance in health care establishments (EAS) . The work shows why a maintenance policy is needed in the strategic vision of EAS. 

Asset Management is no longer a topic that is restricted to the universe of those who work in finance. It is also an agenda for HR, Marketing, Commercial.
